Is it possible to have everything under control? Can we predict and prevent every possible shift? In Switzerland, it would seem so, from the large to the small. That’s what the Schweizer Reduit, bunkers, sirens, or iodine pills seem to suggest.

Daily life is, in part, shaped by this peculiar control of the future, from the macro to the micro scale, through different forms and measures, some more intrusive, others more discreet.

Embracing the hypothesis that this is not enough to make us feel safe, this collection on the ordinary tries also to look for accidental findings free from this perspective.
